honda small engines troubleshooting
Small engine troubleshooting – Honda GX120 starts ok, then stalls in one or two seconds as it speeds up.?
Last week, ran, roughly but enough to run pump… would stall without the choke.
The carb is most likely dirty. Try emptying the bowl below the carb of gas as it might contain water or dirt.
Also, check the gas tank for water. To clean the carb further, try spraying a few shots of carb cleaner down the the carb throat. Let it sit for a few hours.
The engine might not be getting enough fuel. Make sure your fuel shutoff valve is in the on position. Clean the air filter.
